Skagit River Sockeye
(1/1)
brntrt62:
Just an FYI for all. Up north here, the Shagit River from the Hwy. 536 bridge up to Gilligan creek has been opened up for sockeye. The first time I have heard this has happened in ages. Word on the street........ that even with some higher water they are taking some fish. I heard a lot of them are being taken in the Burlington area just up from the R.R bridge. Plunking and sand shirmp. I won't have time to chase them, :yuk but maybe some of you, will be able to take advantage of this fishery. ;D
Best of luck to anybody that has the chance.
