Goose Lake

First post, I usually fish a lot for steelies in Oregon and done pretty well.  Going camping with the girl around goose lake and was wondering if anyone had any advice.  Was thinking about taking a fly rod and pulling a wooly bugger behind the canoe and setting her up with a spin rig with either a flat fish or a wedding ring and some ford fenders.  Anyone been up there and have any advice?
